Yup, you read that right - no H in my name! I've basically made it a personality trait at this point

I started out in the wedding industry 11 years ago as a wedding planning intern with the idea that I was just going to fulfill  college credits. I ended up falling in love with the whole industry and began learning all the different elements it takes to create a wedding. I've worked for a florist, an audio visual company, a catering group, an event rental company, and as a venue coordinator. While I loved being able to see events from so many view points, the planning side has always had my heart.

I've spent my career based in Lexington, Kentucky, where I worked for a rock star team of all women, who have shaped me into the planner I am today. I've had the privilege of being involved in more than 200 weddings, spanning diverse settings from country clubs to outdoor tented venues, and accommodating guest lists ranging from intimate 20-person gatherings to grand 400-person celebrations. I truly do adore every single piece of a wedding day and could not see myself ever doing anything else.

So how did I get to Pittsburgh? Well, you can thank my husband, Charlie for that one. While I grew up in Florida and Charlie grew up in Pittsburgh, as fate would have it, we both ended up going to the same college at the University of Kentucky.  Long story short, we fell in love, got married, had the cutest baby boy and decided it was time to be back near family. So here we are, in the Steel City. I'm so excited to be able to bring my talents to Pittsburgh and look forward to helping more couples create the wedding day of their dreams.
